Name: Lee Tracy
Where I live: Chicago, yet wondering about returning to a place on a coast.
What I do: Artist, Cultural Volunteer, Environmentalist and Social Entrepreneur.
What I’ll be talking about on GGG: Topics from my experience with art, cultural activism, and as a new “green” business owner promoting the movement of transparency.
What inspires me: History and the future. Patience and a thoughtful view of things. I also like laughing and I like to make others laugh.
Who I look up to and respect: I look up to strong women. I have mentors older than myself that have shared great insight with me. Diana Beliard and Diann DeWeese Smith have both shown me through their example the rewards of strength, integrity and uncompromising principle. Any human that exercises their right to try to be extraordinary has my support! Also, I recognise that as a young species on this earth that we can learn from species that have been here longer than us. I respect the animals that have waned within the last century and that are fighting extinction. The Asian Elephant, the Polar Bear, the Grey Wolf, the Tiger, the Leatherback Turtle, the Orangutan and Great Ape are a few that I love.

What I want for the future: I want to see the “green” movement completely alter how things are made. I want to see people relax more with the notion of sustainability and a simple comfort, as opposed to the rush of acquiring objects to project a false worth.
One last thing: Sometimes I want to run and hide. I think I want to live down a 10 min. driveway and shut our world out. I wouldn’t last long. I am instigator, I am one that believes in human achievement and if a “shift” is taking place I want to be part of it as it unfolds.
