Tags: , , , ,

Ethical Weddings and GreenFinder would love to invite you to our first ever Eco Chic Wedding & Home Show on Sunday 8 March.

To make sure we see some Green Girls there, we’re giving away 25 pairs of free tickets plus 3 free pamper treatments courtesy of Stuart at WonderfullyRelaxed.com to be enjoyed on the day.

Wonderfully Relaxed pampering

All you need to do to be in with a chance of winning is to answer the following question; in what year did the Birmingham Botanical Gardens open to visitors? Please email the answer to katie (at) ethicalweddings.com before Wednesday 4 March. Winners will be notified by email.

And if you’re not one of our lucky winners, don’t despair. You can still pick up 2 for 1 tickets by quoting ‘GGG‘ when you book online or by phone.

For more information about the show and to book tickets please visit the Eco Chic Wedding & Home Show website.

See you at the Show!

Great Summer Reads to Wake up Your Sex Life by Wendy on June 18th, 2008
When I think of summer, I have this picture of long lazy days by the water,  listening for the distant voices of my children while I wander off into a great book,  quietly stepping into some new ways of thinking or sharing in the stories of life that change us just by hearing them.

Get ethically inspired at The National Wedding Show

Tags: , , ,

Glam green brides have long been able to get their eco chic wedding fix online but now Ethical Weddings is joining forces with Green Guide to bring our top ethical knot tying tips to a wider audience at The National Wedding Show this Friday 26th, Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th September at Earls Court in London.

As part of the Inspiration Sessions (at 12:30pm on Friday and 10:30am on Saturday & Sunday), Jen Marsden, author of the ‘Green Guide for Weddings’, and I will be helping couples in their search for the perfect bridal and reception flowers with advice on everything from ‘befriending your florist’ and sourcing seasonal, local or fair trade flowers to latest trends and sticking to a budget.

We’ll also be taking questions on wedding flower worries as well as more general ethical wedding issues. It will be interesting to see what questions we get!

Fair trade and seasonal wedding flower arrangements will be decorating the stage courtesy of the lovely Imogen Stone.

If you don’t catch us at Earls Court, we’ll be inspiring more couples at the National Wedding Show at the NEC in Birmingham from Friday 9th to Sunday 11th October.

For more info on the National Wedding Show visit www.nationalweddingshow.co.uk

Hope to see you there!

Katie
