Inspirational green = happy

Posted on 29 October 2007

I have earlier on this blog pledged to only look at “positive green” instead of the “doom of climate change” - there’s so many cool things going on around the globe - and frankly Im tired of living my life worried about the world I am in.

Not that I can’t affect it. I am really turning into a green snob here trying to save as much of my “waste” as possible. But still - yes I am a woman - I am a mother, and Im worried.
The best thing for me is to focus on the positive - and find inspiration for personal green changes instead of freaking out about the climate. So thinks Chris Turner,(via Treehugger) (btw. the picture in the article is from the danish Island “Aeroe” - which has had a really large effect on the greening of Denmark - more about that later.)

Hi Henriette, its great that you will focus on the positive - I will look forward to reading your posts.

I am going to try and focus on positive, however sometimes I will have to showcase some of the bad things that are happening to the environment and to wildlife in order to encourage debate and most importantly action. Sometime people dont realise what they have lost til its gone or about to go, however I hope that by writing about such things I wont cause negativity. We should keep positive The Future is GREEN!

Breathing Places Christmas Song

Find out what the UK wildlife want from Santa this Christmas.

Breathing Places is an important project about getting involved in conservation and protecting wildlife in the UK. I’m not sure that these animals are 100% anatomically correct though….
