Fellow green women EcoBabes, from Climate Protection Campaign, have produced a 2007 calendar to raise awareness about their work and issues around climate change. The calendar portrays 12 women who are committed to working towards a sustainable lifestyle and bringing about social change. We can relate to that!
The EcoBabes say: “The Climate Protection Campaign’s mission is to create a positive future for our children and all life by inspiring action in response to the climate crisis. We advance practical, science-based solutions for significant greenhouse gas reductions.”
The work of Sonoma County’s (U.S.) Climate Protection Campain includes:
Cool Schools – A project which supports and informs schools on reducing their energy use.
and
GHG Inventory Project – A widescale inventory of all greenhouse gas emissions in Sonoma cities and the County and subsequent action to be taken.
