the enviromental ministry of Denmark has started campaign to get all the inhabitants of Denmark to lower they CO2- emission by a ton.
fx.
- if you turn down your floorheating of your house from 24 to 20 degress you will reduce your co2 emission by 4650 kg a year
- if you take the cellphone recharger out of the plug when it’s not in use, you reduce your co2 emission by 10 kg a year
- if you take 5 mins showers instead of 10 mins showers you reduce your co2 emission by 65 kg a year
I think it’s brilliant that the government is actually doing something concrete for the inhabitants to reduce co2…
now I think we need to look at the overall energy supplies of Denmark.. great

Great news! I really want to underscore that one element of unplugging your cell phone charger, or any other chargers. They are energy vampires! Even if they aren’t charging your phone, if you leave them plugged in, they are using juice. You can save money and the environment by remembering to pull the plug. And if you really want to get fancy, you can even buy a solar charger. Kewl, eh?
