Aberdeen Farmers Market

Posted on 03 May 2007

Aberdeen Country Fair can be found in the heart of Aberdeen on the last Saturday of every month. Located on Belmont Street, between Union Street and Schoolhill, Aberdeen Country Fair is one of the largest markets in Scotland, attracting up to 30,000 people per event.

The market provides local farmers and crafters the opportunity to showcase their quality home-grown and handcrafted products. A typical Aberdeen Country Fair will feature everything from Aberdeen Angus beef, fish landed at Aberdeen and Peterhead Harbours, local fruit and vegetables, baking, cheeses, confectionary, Scottish whisky, wines and handmade crafts.

Aberdeen Country Fair is held from 9:00am – 5:00pm on the first and last Saturday of every month (excluding December). Additional markets are occasionally added throughout the summer and leading up to Christmas in December
