Ever since seeing them on a local news feature a year or two ago I’ve been following the progress of the Battery Hen Welfare Trust. The work of these guys is amazing, they rescue ‘ex-bats’ (as they call them) and re-home all over the UK. This October alone they got 1,323 hens out of battery [...]
